Omaha -- transformed, revitalized, and home of the 78-acre Nebraska Furniture Market -- boasts dynamic shopping diversity. Borsheim's, headquartered here as America's second largest jewelry store, stocks exquisite jewelry and fine timepieces at Regency Court, a destination shopping stronghold with Blue Willi's, Pottery Barn Kids, and Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. Downtown's Old Market district features more than 100 boutiques and shops from bookstores to bakeries, plus pubs, eateries and fun amid historic atmosphere. Village Pointe, Nebraska's largest lifestyle shopping center replicating nostalgic Main Street atmosphere, features more than 50 specialty retailers and eateries.

Oak View Mall, anchored by Dillard's, JCPenney, Sears and Younkers, has a Build-A-Bear Workshop, Thomas Kinkade Gallery, Williams-Sonoma, and a Champp's Americana restaurant with hand-pattied burgers. Crossroads Mall, anchored by Dillard's and Sears, also features Gap, GapKids, and a Chili's Grill & Bar. Countryside Village Shopping Center, functioning as a small town within the city, has 33 specialty shops including a pair of art galleries. Montclair Shopping Center has upgraded with a diverse mix of retailers, and Fremont Mall is anchored by Gordmans and JCPenney.

One Pacific Place, south at 103rd and Pacific streets, features more than two dozen stores and restaurants from Chico's and Banana Republic to California Pizza Kitchen. Westroads Mall, anchored by Younkers, JCPenney, Von Maur and Dick's Sporting Goods, has more than 140 retailers and a food court, and Westwood Plaza has more than 70 shops inluding TJ Maxx, Burlington Coat Factory and Office Depot. Bel Air Plaza houses more than 40 specialty shops and a video arcade. Rockbrook Village Shopping Center has transformed with nearly two dozen merchants including Omaha Jewelry Company, Wild Birds Unlimited, and a gourmet farmer's market. To the west, downtown Fremont ranks as eastern Nebraska's antiques capital with a half dozen stores and malls.
